Soren joined Badgley Phelps in 2024 as a fixed income trader focused on the tax-exempt municipal bond market.

Prior to joining the firm, Soren was a bond trader for the broker-dealer subsidiary of Umpqua Bank in Portland, OR.  He’s held a variety of roles related to fixed income, starting out in portfolio administration for a global asset manager before moving into mutual fund sales and then eventually trading.

A proud Seattleite by birth, Soren currently lives in Magnolia with his wife and two cats.  Outside of the office, he enjoys getting out to see live music performances, compulsively following his favorite sports teams, and attempting to maintain some semblance of athletic ability.
